1971

December

Toa Kako Co., Ltd. was established as an independent company from the Processing Department of Osaka Goto Co., Ltd.

1982

May

Changed the company name from Toa Kako Co., Ltd. to Toa Kasei Co., Ltd. and moved the head office to Hosojima-cho, Naka Ward, Hamamatsu City.

October

Merged three affiliated companies, Godo Sekiyu Co., Ltd., Dowa Kasei Co., Ltd. and Toa Giken Co., Ltd., together and was capitalized at 15 million yen.

1983

December

Merged with Sogo Sekiyu Co., Ltd. and was capitalized at 17.5 million yen.

1985

April

Became a subsidiary of Osaka Godo Co., Ltd. with capital of 30 million yen by receiving 12.5 million yen in capital from Osaka Godo Co., Ltd.

1986

October

Ryuyo Distribution Center and Ryuyo Plant established in Higashi Hiramatsu, Ryuyo-cho, Iwata County, Shizuoka Prefecture (currently Higashi Hiramatsu, Iwata City).

1987

April

Toa Kasei Co., Ltd. opened the Gamagori Satellite Office (later became a branch office), taking over part of the business from Osaka Godo Co. Ltd.

1992

April

The office building was completed at the Ryuyo plant site, and the head office (including the testing laboratory) moved from Hosojima to Ryuyo.

1995

June

Fuji Plant (later Fuji Office) established in Harada, Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture.

1999

March

Completed construction of a dissolution plant on the head office premises, consolidated the products manufactured at the Hamamatsu Plant into the dissolution plant and closed the Hamamatsu Plant.

2006

December

Toa Kasei Co., Ltd. held a party to commemorate its 35th anniversary.

2010

February

Toa Kasei Co., Ltd. became a wholly owned subsidiary of O.G. Corporation.

September

Gamagori Branch Office closed due to consolidation of trading divisions.

2011

March

Fuji Office closed due to concentration and rationalization of manufacturing.

April

Trading Division consolidated into O.G. Corporation and relaunched as a dye manufacturing company.

2013

August

Acquired ISO 9001 certification.

2016

March

Constructed tsunami evacuation building.

2018

April

Expanded dissolution plant.

2019

November

Newly installed 5 ㎥ of Nauta mixer at our powder plant.

2021

December

Published 50th anniversary commemorative magazine of Toa Kasei Co., Ltd.

2022

September

Acquired ISO 140011 certification.
